Four golfers share the lead after the second round of ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth. Thomas Pieters, Ryan Fox, Matthew Griffin and Panuphol Pittayarat lead the way at 8 under par. Kristoffer Reitan and Miguel Tabuena who were leading after the opening round had to deal with much tougher conditions and this affected their results. Reitan posted third round 77 which dropped him to two under par while Tabuena sits at one under after 78 today. The cut was made by 66 players who will try to finish among the top 24 tomorrow to advance to the final stage of the tournament.
Second round scores:
Thomas Pieters posted one of the best rounds today. The Belgian played the course with 66 shots which was enough for shared lead.
Pieters is heading into the weekend as one of the favorites. He loves match play as we saw in 2016 during the Ryder Cup.
The shot of the day belongs to Tom Lewis who escaped from the bunker with a birdie 🙂
