Thomas Detry, Antoine Rozner and Calum Hill are one clear before the final round of the 2019 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. The trio sits at 16 under par. A shot behind them are the flying Dane Rasmus Hojgaard and American Sihwan Kim. There was no wind on the course today and most of the players posted results in the red numbers. Matthieu Pavon, who started the day one behind the leader Calum Hill, had a bad day at the office. The Frenchman played the course on three over today. He dropped to eight under par and shared 24th place.
Third round leaderboard:
All players from the leading trio are yet to win on the European Tour. They are in great position to lift first tour title, but it won’t be easy. There are 15 players within five shots of the lead and all of them have their chances.
Thomas Detry plays great golf recently and it is visible in his results. The Belgian has two top 10 finishes in his last four European Tour starts. With a win tomorrow Detry will move inside the top 100 in the world ranking.
Second round leader Calum Hill returned on the top of the leaderboard thanks to this birdie on the 18th hole.
