Calum Hill (Scotland) posted second round 64 to move to 12 under par and take the lead at the 2019 Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open. Hill will head into the weekend one shot clear of Brandon Stone, Thomas Detry and Matthieu Pavon (on the photo). The beautiful golfing conditions at Heritage GC lead to very low scoring during the first two days. The cut line was set to three under par and 72 players managed to advance to the weekend.
Second round leaderboard:
Thomas Detry posted second round 66 and climbed to 11 under par. The Belgian, who is still looking for his maiden European Tour title, shares second place, just a shot behind the leader. In 2018 Detry partnered with Thomas Pieters and won the World Cup of Golf.
Rasmus Hojgaard, one of the leaders after the opening day, played the course at three under par today. The Dane shares ninth place at nine under par, three behind the leader Calum Hill.
