Lucas Herbert is the man to catch after the second day of the 2020 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open. The Australian posted second round 65 to climb to 11 under par for the tournament. He will tee off tomorrow alongside Robert Rock. The Englishman played the course at four under par today and sits solo second at 10 under par. First round leader Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter share third place at nine under par.

Lucas Herbert already won on the European Tour this season. In January Herbert claimed his maiden tour title after winning the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
Lee Westwood played in the morning session where he had to deal with much more difficult conditions compared to yesterday. The Englishman carded four birdies and four bogeys on his way to a round of 71.
Ian Poulter made serious move to the top of the leaderboard after 66 today. Poulter is looking for his first European Tour since November 2012. With a win on Sunday Poulter will return among the top 50 in the world. He started the week ranked 64th.
