Jeff Winther posted second consecutive 67 and with total score of eight under par leads the way at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. The Dane carded five birdies with one bogey today and will start the third round with two-shot lead over a group of five players sharing second place at six under par. The strong winds at Education City GC made the course a real challenge for the golfers which is visible from today’s scores. The filed played the course at 226 over par today compared to 28 under par in the opening round.

Jeff Winther has played in 111 European Tour tournaments but he is still looking for his maiden title. The Dane started the week ranked 266th in the world, but a win on Sunday will climb him among the top 150.
Thomas Pieters was one of the few golfers with score under par for the day. The Belgian shares seventh place at five under par after 69 today.
Kurt Kitayama arrived in Qatar as one of the favorites for the win. After two days and rounds of 67 and 69 he shares second place at six under par.
