Jon Rahm won the 2020 BMW Championship after phenomenal final round and unforgettable playoff with Dustin Johnson. Rahm posted the round of the day and climbed to the top of the leaderboard after 64 at Olympia Fields CC. Dustin Johnson, one of the leaders after day three, managed to match this score. The World Number One needed 67 shots on the course on Sunday which was enough to secure him a place in the playoff. The winner was decided on the first extra hole won by Rahm. The Spaniard had a big breaker 66′ putt which he somehow managed to make. Joaquin Niemann and Hideki Matsuyama completed the top three with total score of two under par.

Jon Rahm had a tough start on the tournament and after opening round 75 it looked like he is out of the mix. With two round in the 60’s (66 and 64) during the weekend the Spaniard climbed the leaderboard and found a place in the playoff. This is Rahm’s fifth PGA Tour title and his second in his last five starts. Rahm was solid on the greens all week, but this was the putt which secured him the win:
