Former world number one Tiger Woods is taking a well deserved break after the end of the PGA Tour season. Woods had a dynamic season in which he won his 15th major title and suffered from a back injury at the end. On Monday night Woods was on Arthur Ashe Stadium to support his friend Rafael Nadal. Nadal didn’t have much problems in his match with Marin Cilic and after a 3-1 sets win he advanced to the semi-finals.
Woods was on Flushing Meadows courts on Tuesday as well. He saw the triumph of Serena Williams against Qiang Wang and the epic battle between former world number one Roger Federer and Grigor Dimitrov. The 78th in the world Bulgarian shocked Federer and eliminated him from the tournament after 3-2 win. Tiger was in the company of his kids and his girlfriend in a suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
