American Cameron Champ claimed his second PGA Tour title after winning the 2019 Safeway Open. Champ finished the tournament at 17 under par, one clear of Canadian Adam Hadwin. The quality of golf was superb all week and the last minutes provided a lot of drama as well. Cameron Champ bogeyd the 17th to see his lead reduced to one shot only. And when Hadwin birdied the last Champ needed a birdie on the last to claim the title and avoid the playoff. He answered as a true champion and after brilliant third shot on the par 5 18th he left himself a three footer for birdie and the win. Champ held his nerves and sank the put to win the title and the big check for $1,188,000.
