Collin Morikawa won maiden major at the 2020 PGA Championship

Collin Morikawa claimed his first major title after winning the 2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. The American carded four birdies and one eagle on his way to final round 64. As a result Morikawa finished the tournament at 13 par, two clear of Paul Casey and third round leader Dustin Johnson.

PGA Championship 2020 final leaderboard:

Morikawa started the day two shots behind the leader Dustin Johnson. On Sunday Morikawa was one of the three players to play the course at six under par which was the best score of the day.

The American is only 23 years old, but already has three PGA Tour wins. It is more impressive that they came in only 29 starts where he missed only one cut.

Paul Casey had another very good week on the course, but again he finished just short. Casey, 43, is one of the best golfers in the world in the last 15 years, but he is still looking for his first major title. With this week shared second place the Englishman now has ten finishes among the top 10 in all major tournaments.
