Clement Sordet took the lead at Nordea Masters, part of the European tour schedule, after 8 under (62) in the opening round. Lee Slattery and Scott Jamieson shares the second place, two behind the leader Sordet, after 64 in their opening rounds. Thorbjorn Olesen who is trying to secure his spot in the European Ryder Cup team started the tournament with two under 68. Martin Kaymer, one of the biggest names in the tournament carded 67 in his opening round.
