Cameron Smith extended his lead in Maui

Cameron Smith extended his lead after the second round of the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions. The Australian posted second round 64 and as a result climbed to 17 under par for the tournament. He will take a three-shot lead into the third round. World number one Jon Rahm and American Daniel Berger share second place at 14 under par.

Second round leaderboard:

Cameron Smith was one of the three players to play the course at nine under par on Friday. The Australian started his round with two consecutive bogeys, but quickly found the right rhythm and didn’t make more mistakes.

Bryson DeChambeau needed 68 strokes on the course today and as a result climbed to nine under par for the tournament. DeChambeau is in the group that shares 15th place on the current leaderboard.

Xander Schauffele climbed the leaderboard with five spots after a round of 67. The Olympic champion is tied for eight at ten under par.
