Tyler Duncan claimed maiden PGA Tour title at The RSM Classic

American Tyler Duncan claimed maiden PGA Tour title after winning the 2019 RSM Classic at Sea Island Resort in Georgia. Duncan posted final round 65 to move to 19 under par at the end of round four. This result was matched by the big favorite for the win this week Webb Simpson. The duo went out on the course one more time to determine the winner. Tyler Duncan sank his 15 footer for birdie on the second extra hole and won his first PGA Tour title. Third round leader Brendon Todd played the course on two over par on Sunday and as a result finished solo fourth at 16 under par.

The RSM Classic 2019 final leaderboard:

Thanks to the win Tyler Duncan climbed to 170th place at the official world golf ranking and 11th at the FedEx Cup standing.

With this runner-up finish Webb Simpson once again proved that he is one of the hottest golfers on the planet right now. The American started the week ranked 12th in the world, but will climb with one spot from today.

A double bogey on the par 4 fifth cost the win of Brandon Tod. It got his momentum and he never managed to recover. Despite of the disappointment Todd should be happy with his season so far. The American already won two tournaments and will end the year as number one at the FedEx Cup standing.
