Second round leaderboard:
Thomas Detry is still looking for his maiden European Tour title. The Belgian has been very consistent in the last couple of seasons and as a result moved within the top 100 in the world. A win on Sunday will get him closer to the top 50 which will be his best OWGR position so far in his career.
Last week winner Tyrrell Hatton played the course at eight under par which was the best round for the day. As a result the Englishman climbed to four under par for the tournament and shares 23rd spot on the current leaderboard.
A title from this week’s tournament is one of the new which are missing in Lee Westwood’s trophy cabinet. The Englishman rarely miss this tournament and has three runner-up finishes under his belt.
