Pablo Larrazabal claimed first title on home soil

Pablo Larrazabal pleased the home crowd and claimed the title at the ISPS Handa Championship in Spain. The Spaniard posted a final round 62 and climbed to 15 under par for the tournament which secured him his seventh DP World Tour title. The third round leader Adrian Otaegui played the course at four under par and finished solo second, just a shot behind the winner.

Pablo Larrazabal is in great form and he has posted some strong results since the start of the year. In his last six starts the Spaniard won twice and posted another three top 10’s. Thanks to his win in Spain Larrazabal will climb inside the top 70 golfers on the planet. He started the week as world number 109. 

Haotong Li was one of the favorites for the win this week. Li has been struggling in the last couple of seasons, but he slowly returns to the form which climbed him to the top 50 golfers in the world.
