Seven years later Nicolas Colsaerts is European Tour winner again

Nicolas Colsaerts held his nerve to win his third European Tour title at this week Amundi Open de France. In a day with a lot of drama Le Golf National once again proved his reputation and provided great test for the best European golfers. Colsaerts, who started the day with three shot lead, posted final round 72 and finished the tournament at 12 under par. Joachim B. Hansen from Denmark climbed to the second place after final round 68. George Coetzee finished solo third at 10 under par after final round 71.

Amundi Open de France 2019 final leaderboard:

This is the third title of Nicolas Colsaerts at the European Tour and his first since May 2012. Thanks to his win this week Colsaerts secures his European Tour card for two years and climbs to 53rd place at Race to Dubai.

George Coetzee had his chances, but a triple bogey on the par four 15th ruled him out of contention.

Joachim B. Hansen is in superb form and this is confirmed by his recent results. Hansed finished 4th in Spain and last week he shared 25th at the Italian Open, but had the lead after the second round.
