Nicolas Colsaerts secure a three shot lead before the final round of the 2019 Amundi Open de France after solid 67 today. The big hitting Belgian leads at 13 under par, three clear of George Coetzee, who started the day as co-leader alongside Colsaerts. Jamie Donaldson and Kurt Kitayama share third place at nine under par.
With one round to go:
Nicolas Colsaerts has two European Tour wins, but the last one came seven years ago. In 2012 Colsaerts won the Volvo World Match Play Championship after defeating Graeme McDowell on the final.
George Coetzee played solid golf today on his way to third round 70. The South African was on fire after three birdies on the first three holes from the back nine. However a double bogey on the 13th got his momentum and he pared all remaining holes from his round.
Martin Kaymer posted another 69 today and the German shares eight place at seven under par. Kaymer needs a low one tomorrow to have a chance to lift the trophy in Paris for second time in his career.
