Max Homa claimed his third PGA Tour title after winning the Fortinet Championship – the first tournament of the new PGA Tour season. The American played the course at seven under par on Sunday and as a result climbed to 19 under par for the tournament. This was enough to win by one over Maverick McNealy who posted a final round 68. Mito Pereira from Chile finished at 16 under par and completed the top three.
