American Lanto Griffin won the 2019 Houston Open to claim his maiden PGA Tour title. Griffin finished the tournament at 14 under par after final round 69. Scott Harrington and Mark Hubbard finished just short at 13 par and shared second place at the final leaderboard.

This is the first PGA Tour title for Lanto Griffin and it comes at his 33rd PGA Tour career start. Thanks to hos win this wee Griffin moves to 108th in the world, a jump with 68 places.
Mark Hubbard finished second, but this was his best PGA Tour result.
Henrik Stenson was the biggest favorite for the trophy this week in Texas. The 2016 Open champion didn’t have his best week and after 72 & 74 in the first two rounds he missed the cut by two shots.
