Kurt Kitayama claimed his second European Tour title after winning the 2019 Oman Open. Kitayama finished the tournament at seven under par after final round 70. Maximilian Kieffer, who started the final round as leader, finished at six under par and shared second place.

Kitayama had to go through all three stages of the Qualifying School to secure his European Tour card. This is his second win in just 11 starts. At the end of last year he won the Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open
