Jack Singh Brar and Louis de Jager lead the way at Magical Kenya Open. The duo tops the leaderboard at seven under par after opening round 64. Only a shot behind is the Indian Gaganjeet Bhullar (on the photo). Bhullar is solo third at six under par. The strong winds made the course challenging today and this affected the scores. Only 53 golfers played on par or better in the opening day of the tournament.

First round leaderboard:

The European Ryder Cup 2018 captain Thomas Bjørn had a good day on the course. The Great Dane sits at one under par and shares 24th place.

Good day for Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño, who played on level par today. The Spaniard is seven shots behind the leaders Jack Singh Brar and Louis de Jager, but he made the shot of the day at Karen CC. Fernández-Castaño eagled the par 4 17th with his approach shot.
