World number one Dustin Johnson will take four-shot lead into the final round of the 2020 Masters at Augusta, Georgia. Johnson posted third round 65 to climb to 16 under par for the tournament. Sungjae Im, Cameron Smith and Abraham Ancer share second place at 12 under par.
With one round to go:
This is Justin Johnson’s 10th Masters appearance. The American has four top 10 finishes in his last four starts at Augusta. In 2017 Johnson was the main favorite for the win, but an accident forced him to withdraw on Wednesday evening.
Last week Carlos Ortiz claimed the title at the the Vivint Houston Open. Another Mexican – Abraham Ancer is playing great golf this week and has all the chances to win his first PGA Tour title this week.
Rory McIlroy played the course at five under par today and as a result climbed to eight under par and shared 10th place on the leaderboard. McIlroy needs something special tomorrow if he wants to become the sixth golfer with a win in all four majors.
