Daniel Gavins claimed his maiden European Tour title after winning the 2021 ISPS HANDA World Invitational. The Englishman posted a final round 65 and climbed to 13 under par for the tournament. David Horsey finished solo second, a shot behind the winner. Four players, including the third round leader Jordan Smith, shared third place at 11 under par.

Today’s triumph is the first for Daniel Gavins in the European Tour and it comes in his 53rd start. Thanks to it Gavins will climb inside the top 270 golfers in the world. He started the week as world number 453rd.
At some point David Horsey had a two-two shot lead, but it was lost after a double bogey six on the par four 13th. Horsey played the back nine at four under par and that cost him the win.
