Brilliant Bjerregaard won the 2018 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

Lucas Bjerregaard claimed his second European Tour title at the 2018 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The strong winds at the Old Course didn’t affect Bjerregaard’s solid golf and he posted final round 67 to finish at 15 under for the tournament. Ryder Cup stars Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton, who was leading after the third round, shared the second place at 14 under par. Hatton had great start of the day with 4 birdies in the row on the front nine, but 4 bogeys on the back nine dropped him back to level par for the day. Tapio Pulkkanen posted final round 69 and finished solo 4th at 12 under. Andrea Pavan and Haotong Li, who carded the best round for the day (66), shared the fifth place at 10 under par.

Bjerregaard’s putting was on fire today and he made only one bogey.

Good week for Tommy Fleetwood who will reduce Francesco Molinari’s Race to Dubai lead.

Tyrrell Hatton didn’t managed to keep his concentration on the back nine and missed the chance to win the tournament for 3rd consecutive year.
