Thorbjørn Olesen finished his round eagle-birdie to claim the title at the 2022 Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett. The Dane started the round with a comfortable three-shot lead, but he saw his chances for the win gone after the first 16 holes which he played at four over par. The birdie on the last climbed Olesen back to 10 under par for the tournament which was enough for the win at The Belfry. Sebastian Söderberg posted a final round 68 and as a result climbed to 9 under par and solo second on the final leaderboard. Connor Syme, Richie Ramsay and Justin Walters tied for third at eight under par.
