Stephen Gallacher and Ryan Fox lead the way in rainy Saudi Arabia

Stephen Gallacher (pictured) and Ryan Fox were at the top of the leaderboard when play was suspended for the day due to darkness. The unusual rain for this period of the year in Saudi Arabia made the course unplayable and forced the organizers to suspend play for a few hours. As a result many golfers were not able to complete their round and will go out on the course tomorrow at 07:30 local time. The third round will start not before 10:00 local time with two-tee start. One of the golfers who has to complete his second round is Stephen Gallacher. The Scot was on the 13th when the officials blew the horn for end of play for the day.

How it stands after day two:

Dustin Johnson was playing at five under for the day when the darkness stopped the action. The 2019 tournament champion sits at eight under par with four holes to go from his second round.

Paul Casey was one of the lucky players to finish his second round before the suspension. Last week’s winner from Dubai sits at three under par and shares 36th place on the current leaderboard.
