Robert MacIntyre (Scotland) played phenomenal golf around Green Eagle Golf Course today and posted second round 65 to take the solo lead at the 2019 Porsche European Open. MacIntyre leads at 11 under par and will start the weekend with four shots advantage over local hero Bernd Ritthammer. Ritthammer, who is 924th in the world, also played solid today and after second round 66 sits second at seven under par.

Robert MacIntyre missed the cut in his last two tournaments, but seems he found his A game in Germany. MacIntyre, who is still looking for his maiden European Tour title, already has some good result this season including shared sixth place at the Open.
Bernd Wiesberger is one of the big favorites to lift the trophy on Sunday. The Austrian shares sixth place after two rounds. He sits at four under par, seven shots behind the leader MacIntyre.
