American Patrick Reed leads the 2018 WGC – HSBC Champions at 8 under par. Reed played solid golf today on his way to a round of 64 in which he recorded eight birdies and no dropped shots. Tony Finau and Xander Schauffele are two shots behind the leader at 6 under par. Matthew Fitzpatrick is solo fourth at 5 under par after 67 in the opening round.
