Miguel Ángel Jiménez won the Senior Open at the Old Course at St. Andrews after posting final round 69. Jiménez finished the tournament with score of 12 under par, 1 shot ahead of Bernhard Langer, who played great at Carnoustie last week. With this win Jiménez secured his spot in the 2019 Open Championship which will be held 18–21 July 2019 at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.

This triumph at the Home of Golf is pretty special for Miguel as in 1984 Seve won his second Open on this course.
