Matt Wallace will take three-shot lead into the final round of the 2020 Scottish Championship presented by AXA. The Englishman posted third round 66 and leads the way at 18 under par. He will tee off tomorrow alongside Garrick Porteous who sits solo second at 15 under par. The co-leader from yesterday Adrian Otaegui dropped to third place after 70 today.
With one round to go:
Matt Wallace is four-time European Tour winner. Wallace won three times in 2018 and haven’t won since although we see him very often in the mix.
Adrian Otaegui also haven’t won more than two years on tour. The Spaniard has two titles under his belt. His last European Tour triumph came at the 2018 Belgian Knockout.
Garrick Porteous is the surprising name at the top of the leaderboard. The Englishman, ranked 819th in the world, is playing his first European Tour season. A win tomorrow would move him within the top 400 in the world and would secure his card for the next two seasons.
