Matt Kuchar remains at the top and after the second round of The Genesis Invitational. Kuchar posted second round 69 and as a result climbed to nine under par. He heads into the weekend with two shots lead over a group of three players including world number one Rory McIlroy.
Second round leaderboard:
Matt Kuchar played solid golf and carded four birdies and two bogey in his second round. The American is in a good position to win his second title for the year.
Rory McIlroy is in great shape. The four time major winner posted seven top 10 finishes in his last eight starts.
The round of the day belongs to Australian Adam Scott. Scott played the course on seven under par for the day and climbed from T65 to shared third place on the leaderboard.
Tiger Woods didn’t play his best golf and posted second round 73. As a result the former world number one dropped to shared 45th place at level par.
