Marc Warren from Scotland (on the photo) and Nicolai von Dellingshausen (Germany) share the lead after the third round of the 2020 Austrian Open. The duo sits at 11 under par and will start the final round with one shot lead over Connor Symme, Darius van Driel and Sebastian Garcia Rodriguez. The heavy rain above Diamond CC made the conditions very tough and that affected the scores. Only 18 players managed to play the course under par today.
With one round to go:
Nicolai von Dellingshausen plays great golf this week, although the German rarely plays on that level. Von Dellingshausen, who is ranked 640th in the world, plays mainly on the Challenge Tour.
Darius van Driel was one of the few players who posted a round in the red numbers. The Dutch plays both – the European and the Challenge tours, but a win tomorrow will secure him the card for the main tour at least for a year.
The round of the day belongs to Adrien Saddier. The Frenchman carded third round 68 and climbed to 6 under par for the tournament. He shares 12th place, five shots behind the leader.
