Kevin Tway won a playoff with Ryan Moore and Brandt Snedeker and claimed his maiden PGA Tour title at Safeway Open. Tway, Moore and Snedeker finished the tournament at 14 under which lead to extra holes. Snedeker was eliminated on the first extra hole with par. On the third extra hole Tway made a birdie, which was enough for the win. Five players – Luke List, Troy Merritt, Sam Ryder, Aaron Baddeley and Sungjae Im shared 4th place at 13 under.
