Kalle Samooja and Scott Hend share the lead in Kenya

Kalle Samooja and Scott Hend sit at the top of the leaderboard after the second day of the 2021 Magical Kenya Open. They share the lead at 11 under par, one clear of Richie Ramsay, Dean Burmester and Connor Syme who are tied for third.

Second round leaderboard:

Scott Hend is a three-time European Tour winner, but he is more popular with his results in Asia. The Australian has won 10 times on the Asian Tour. Hend’s last European Tour triumph was in March 2019 at the Maybank Championship.

Kalle Samooja has some very good finishes on the European Tour in the last couple of season, but he is yet to win. Samooja started the week ranked 135th in the world, but a win on Sunday will climb him inside the top 100.
