Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters 2020 final leaderboard:
Valderrama showed its teeths again and made it extremely difficult for the players out there on the course. This was the case for the winner John Catlin as well who carded four bogeys and no birdies today. However this was enough to win by one and grab the title. Thanks to his triumph the American climbs with more than 100 spots at Race to Dubai to 35th place. He will also make a serious move at the Official World Golf Ranking where started the week ranked 230th.
For second week in a row Martin Kaymer doesn’t win because of tactical mistakes on the last holes. The German had his chances, but the missed birdie putt on the 17th and the bogey on the 18th cost him the win. However it’s good to see the 2014 U.S Open champion in the mix playing well again.
The best round of the week belongs to the veteran Lee Westwood. The Englishman needed only 67 strokes on the course today and as a result climbed with 51 spots on the leadrboard. He shared 10th place with score of eight over par.
