Five players share the lead after the opening day of the 2021 Made in HimmerLand, part of the European Tour calendar. Richard Bland, Bernd Wiesberger (pictured), Pablo Larrazabal, Lauri Ruusk and Yikeun Chang sit at the top of the leaderboard with score of five under par.
First round leaderboard:
Bernd Wiesberger had the perfect start of his title defense. If he continue with this fine performance will have all chance to become the first player to successfully defend his title. The Austrian spent the last couple of months in USA, but didn’t post any impressive results on the PGA Tour.
Laurie Canter started this season with some very good results, including shared fifth place at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. We saw the Englishman in the mix on several occasions, but he is yet to win his maiden European Tour title. After the first day in Denmark Canter shares sixth place at four under par.
