Maximilian Kieffer claimed his maiden DP World Tour title after winning the 2022 D+D Real Czech Masters. The German posted a final round 66 and as a result climbed to 16 under par for the tournament. This was enough to win by one over yesterday’s leader Gavin Green. The tournament was reduced to 54 holes because of the heavy rains in Prague which made the course unplayable on Saturday.
Masters 2022 final leaderboard:
This is Maximilian Kieffer’s first DP World Tour title and it comes in his 249th appearance. Thanks to his triumph in Prague Kieffer will move inside the top 220 golfers on the planet. He started the week as world number 275.
Gavin Green played solid golf all week and managed to avoid serious mistakes. Not that was the case today when Green played the course at one under par. He made a double bogey six on the 14th and this cost him the win.
