Ewen Ferguson posted a third round 68 and with a total score of 11 under par leads the way at the 2022 ISPS Handa World Invitational. The Scot will take a three-shot lead into the final round over John Catlin. The American played the course at four under par today and climbed to eight under for the tournament.
How it stands after the third round:
Ewen Ferguson is playing his 50th DP World Tour tournament and he already has a win under his belt. In March this year he claimed his maiden title after winning the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
Filippo Celli, born in 2000, is the sensation of the tournament so far. The young Italian is still an amateur, but he is well in the mix. Celli shares eight place at five under par. Only three players have won on the DP World Tour as amateurs. Their names are Pablo Martín Benavides, Danny Lee and Shane Lowry.
