Charles Howell III won The RSM Classic after he defeated Patrick Rodgers in a play-off. Both players finished at 19 under par, but on the second extra hole Charles Howell III made a birdie which secured him the title. The big favorite Webb Simpson finished third at 18 under par.
This win is the third for Charles Howell III from the PGA Tour and his first since February 2007.
