Xander Schauffele posted third round 66 and with a total score of seven under par leads the way at the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open. The American is two clear of the 2017 champion Rafa Cabrera Bello who played the course at three under par today.
How it stands with one round to go:
Two week ago Xander Schauffele claimed his sixth PGA Tour title after winning Travelers Championship. Thanks to his solid performance at The Renaissance Club this week the American will be among the favorites to win next week’s Open Championship.
Rafa Cabrera Bello has four DP World Tour titles under his belt. His most recent win was in October at the Acciona Open de España. A win tomorrow will climb the Spaniard inside the top 100 golfers in the world. He started the week as world number 159.
Yesterday’s leader Cameron Tringale played the course at four over par and as a result dropped to shared sixth place at three under par.
