John Catlin is the man to catch at Andalucia Masters

John Catlin is the only player under par after three days at Valderrama. The American posted third round 72 and leads the way with score of two under par. He will take two-shot lead into the final round where he will tee off alongside the two-time major winner Marin Kaymer. The German played the course at one under par today. He sits solo second on level par for the tournament. Jamie Donaldson and Italian Lorenzo Gagli share third place at one over par.

How it stands with one round to go:

John Catlin had to chance to take four shots advantage on Sunday, but he finished bogey-bogey and as a result dropped back to two under par. The young American played solid golf so far in Spain and it won’t be a surprise if we see him lifting his first European Tour trophy tomorrow.

Martin Kaymer continues his comeback and we will see him into the mix on Sunday for second week in a row. He didn’t win last week in England, but thanks to his experience Kaymer is considered as the big favorite for the win tomorrow.

Home hero Adrian Otaegui needed only 68 strokes on the course today, which was the best result for the day. As a result Otaegui climbed to shared sixth place at three over par.
