Zander Lombard edges ahead at Dubai Duty Free Irish Open after second round 67. Lombard leads at nine under par and has one shot lead over Eddie Pepperell. Disappointing day at the office for first round leader Padraig Harrington. Harrington played the course on three over par today and dropped to shared 21st place on the leaderboard.

Eddie Pepperell won two times last year, including on home soil at the British Masters. The Englishman already posted some very impressive results this season. He tied for third at The Players and thanks to this finish he moved inside the top 50 at the Official World Golf Ranking.
The defending champion Russell Knox sits at five under par after two rounds. He shares 12th place, four shots behind the leader Lombard.
