Scott Jamieson two clear at the KLM Open

Scott Jamieson (Scotland) stormed ahead at the KLM Open after solid play in the second round. Jamieson carded seven birdies and no bogeys at The International on his way to round of 65 to climb to 11 under par. Four players, including the first round leader Callum Shinkwin, shares second place at nine under par, two behind the leader.

Second round leaderboard:

Scott Jamieson lone European Tour victory came in September 2012 at The Nelson Mandela Championship.

Sergio Garcia is one of the big names at the tournament this week. The Spaniard has a disappointing season so far, but this can be changed wit a win at The International. Garcia needed 67 strokes to complete his round today and he is in the group at nine under par.

KLM Open is one of the tournaments at the European Tour which gives golf fans the chance to compete against the golfing stars. “Beat the pro” has been introduced a few seasons ago and it enjoys great success. Today one of the biggest names in Dutch football had the chance to play against the pros. Ronald de Boer made a fantastic shot on a par 3 and won the contest after his ball went closest to the pin.
