Sam Horsfield posted the best round of the day (64) and took the solo lead after the second round of the 2020 Celtic Classic. The Englishman sits at 11 under par. He heads into the weekend with one-shot lead over yesterday’s leader Thomas Pieters.

Sam Horsfield is playing great golf since the resumption of the season. Two weeks ago the Englishman claimed his maiden European Tour title after winning the Hero Open. Horsfield had the chance to post even better result, but the triple bogey on the par 3 17th was too expensive.
Andrew “Beef” Johnston played his closing four holes at five under par. As a result Beef posted a round of 66 and climbed to shared third place on the current leaderboard.
