Sam Horsfield claimed his third DP World Tour title after winning the Soudal Open at Rinkven International GC in Belgium. The Englishman posted a final round 68 and as a result climbed to 13 under par for the tournament. This was enough to win by two over yesterday’s leader Ryan Fox and the German Yannik Paul.
Soudal Open final leaderboard:
This is Sam Horsfield’s third DP World Tour from 99 appearances. Thanks to it he will climb to seventh on the Race to Dubai and will find a place inside the top 70 golfers in the world. He started the week as world number 110.
Ryan Fox had a solid star and after three birdies on the first five holes extended his lead to three strokes. However the New Zealander didn’t manage to keep the momentum and played the course on level par today which was enough for shared second place only.
