Russell Henley posted third round 67 and with a total score of 18 under par leads the way at the 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii. The American will play in the final round alongside Hideki Matsuyama who sits solo second at 16 under par.
How it stands with 18 holes to go:
Russell Henley is a three-time PGA Tour winner, but he hasn’t won since April 2017 when claimed the title at the Shell Houston Open. Henley is currently ranked 56th in the world, but with a win on Sunday he can climb inside the top 40 golfers on the planet.
Hideki Matsuyama played the course at seven under par on Saturday which was the best score of the day. The Masters champion already won once this season. He claimed the title at the Zozo Championship which was played in his native Japan.
