Kevin Kisner, the defending champion Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffele leading after the 3rd round of the Open at 9 under. Today Carnoustie offered great golfing conditions and most of the players posted a round in the red numbers. The final day of the 147th Open will be very interesting as 19 players are within 5 shots of the leaders. In 1999 Paul Lawrie was 10 shots of the lead after the 3rd round but his briliant play in the final day and the weather conditions helped him to win the Claret Jug after a play-off with Jean Van de Velde and Justin Leonard.
