Garrick Higgo won the 2021 Gran Canaria Lopesan Open

Garrick Higgo posted final round 63 to claim the title at the 2021 Gran Canaria Lopesan Open. The South African finished the tournament with score of 25 under par, three clear of Maximilian Kieffer. The German played the course at eight under par today and as a result climbed the leaderboard with five spots to solo second place at 22 under par. Jeff Winther completed the top three thanks to his 64 in the final round.

This is Garrick Higgo’s second European Tour title and it comes less than eight months after his maiden triumph. Last September Garrick Higgo claimed the title at the Open de Portugal which was part of both – European Tour and Challenge Tour calendar. Thanks to today’s triumph Higgo will move inside the top 70 in the world. He started the week ranked 110th.

For second week in row Maximilian Kieffer is in the mix. The German is playing great golf recently and it is a matter of time to see him winning for the first time on tour.
